This Privacy Policy explains what information The Hidden Business ("we," "us") collects through hiddenbusinessmedia.com (the "Site"), how it is used, and your choices. We keep this simple: the Site is a small, public informational website, and we do not collect more than what is described below.

Information We Collect

When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the date/time of your visit. This is ordinary web-server log data used only for security, troubleshooting, and keeping the Site running reliably. We do not use this data to build a profile of you.

Third-Party Services

The Site is hosted on infrastructure provided by a third-party hosting provider, which processes standard server logs as part of operating the server. Our domain is registered through a third-party domain registrar. Email sent to our contact address is handled by our email provider. None of these providers receive any information from you beyond what is necessary to host the Site or deliver your email.

Google API Services / YouTube API

The Hidden Business may use Google OAuth 2.0 and the YouTube Data API to manage content on YouTube accounts that are explicitly owned and authorized by The Hidden Business. This authorization is granted directly by the account owner through Google's own consent screen — it is not something visitors to this Site do, and it does not involve any visitor's Google account.

• Access granted through this authorization is used only to upload and manage video content on the authorized YouTube channel(s), and to check basic account/channel status before publishing.
• OAuth credentials and tokens obtained this way are used only for that authorized functionality and are stored securely on our own server infrastructure — never in source control, never in logs, and never shared with a third party.
• Data obtained through Google APIs is not sold.
• Data obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising.
• Authorization can be revoked at any time by the account owner through Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The Hidden Business's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Retention

Standard server logs described above are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or rotated out. OAuth tokens described above are retained only for as long as needed to operate the authorized YouTube functionality, and are deleted if authorization is revoked or is no longer needed.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information described in this policy, including keeping credentials out of source control and logs, and restricting server access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This Site is a general business-news website and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
